YALL, I am so excited to write this post for several reasons! A cool city, a fabulous house, and my best friend owns it. Say what?! All fun things right? Indeed.
Welcome to The #NASHNEST
First off, Nashville holds a really special place in my heart as well as Will’s. Our very first date after meeting at a wedding was in downtown Nashville. He lived in the city for 5 years which meant I was always visiting and then eventually I lived there too before moving to St. Louis. It just so happened that right as I was about to move to St. Louis one of my very best friends, Kaylea, tells me she is moving to Nashville? OHHH really…right when I am moving? Bummer. Tears. The good thing is that Will still has Nashville in his work territory and we have a great group of friends in the city so we visit often!
This past Summer, Kaylea bought a beautiful home in East Nashville. The home is walking distance to all things fun on the East side. She held a beautiful wedding shower for Will and I only 3 weeks after moving in. Since she moved in in July, she has done some really awesome things to the place. I am so excited to share below all things #NASHNEST and how to rent out her house PLUS a little bonus on how to buy the same décor off Amazon! So, grab a glass of wine and lets get started.
The very first thing I want to point out is that Nashville is a top place to visit as well as move to right now and hotels are straight up charging a fortune. Who wants to pay a lot of money for a small room when you could pay LESS for a house that is fully furnished and sleeps 12? This point has me singing, Baby, it’s a no brainerrr. The price is already on point, even if the house was just basic. However, The #NASHNEST far exceeds basic. We all know wall murals are the cool thing these days. If you have ever tried to go get your picture taken at a cool wall mural in Nashville, most likely you are waiting in line. By the time you get up there to take the picture, you feel like all eyes are watching and you need to rush to get done so the next person in line can get their turn. At The #NASHNEST you can enjoy a private wall mural in the backyard. This is perfect for bloggers, bachelorette parties, girls weekend, etc.!
Kaylea anticipates a second wall mural in the near future! The back yard is huge with outside furniture, room to run around in, and get a quick visit with her sweet pup Dixie.

The inside gets even better. Walk in the front door and you will find the most amazing white sectional couch from Joss & Main! The main room is tastefully decorated with a piano, China cabinet with beautiful China you can use, decorative lamps, chairs, and pillows! The living room is open to the kitchen, which makes for an awesome house to entertain in. Cozy up on this velvet couch with a hot cup of coffee from The Keurig or a night cap from her assortment of wines on the wall! Kaylea has a “Recommendations” board so you can hit the best spots or as your host, ask her anything you want about the area! Oh and not to worry, the living room has a nice flat screen TV too.
The kitchen is a dream kitchen! Kaylea always has fresh flowers and the “table” set. You will hear me talk a lot in my posts about loving marble, white and gray in a house, and especially in a kitchen. Her kitchen is just that with touches of color from books, cookbooks, flowers and other décor! 
I love that she has Kristin Cavallari’s book “True Roots” in the kitchen right now.

Moving onto the Master Bed which is located downstairs (all other bedrooms are upstairs). You are greeted with a basket on the bed filled with towels, wash cloths, waters, coffee mugs and candy!
Her fabulous King bed is from Joss & Main. You can enjoy a full length wall mirror and a vanity for getting ready purposes!
NOW FOR THE MASTER BATHROOM…. #GOALS!!!
Enjoy this ADORABLE soaking tub! Kaylea always has a scented candle to really amp up the relaxing experience. SO. CUTE.
Not a bath person? No worries. A fabulous walk in shower is right next to the tub! The vanity is double sink AND my favorite part is ROBES!! Who doesn’t love a robe especially when it is cold outside?
Downstairs also has a cute little half bath behind the kitchen which is so convenient for guests!
Let’s stroll upstairs now. You will find the cutest nursery with a crib for your little one!
Then a Jack and Jill set up! There are two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The first room has a queen bed and adorable furniture. Plus you know she is going to throw in a basket of fun stuff for you too!
Enjoy a nice size bathroom with a tub/shower. You can already guess it is nicely decorated as well! Be sure to try out her Arbonne soaps and lotions. AMAZING vegan products!
The last room I will show is my absolute favorite room in the entire house! It gets the best natural lighting. It has a desk to work at, a hanging chair to read in, a coffee station and a bed! The decor is on point and I have curated all of the decor into a list I will link below.
